Pieces originally written for a now lost 2013 short documentary on the history of North Buxton. The film was made for Pattern Energy in advance of a wind farm project breaking ground near this small Ontario town.

The music presents subtle reflections on one of Canada's most historically significant rural communities. Established in the mid-19th century by black Americans escaping the trauma of slavery, North Buxton is a powerful reminder of still present social, political and economic inequities of North American imperial power.
